Experts have been saying this for a while now that the recent natural disasters that the world has witnessed are due to the rapid global climate change. To state that our current life style is a huge contributor to this phenomenon won’t be an understatement.
The recent devastating floods in Pakistan are also part of the same cycle of the consequences of the climate change that most of us refuse to accept as a problem. Following is a pictorial view of Kot Addu & Sanawa, areas of Lower Punjab. The surviving trees radiating the natural beauty even amidst the surrounding destruction is amazing & makes one wonders with nature is where one finds the much looked for peace then how come we are involved in destroying that very peace.
